The TEC Leadership Model

"The Neuroscience Behind Leading Yourself and Others."

What people are saying about the TEC Persuasion Model:

"Managers shouldn’t be let loose on an organization without having first grasped the TEC Model." Ian Mc Hardy, Director, Accutrac

"A decade ahead of its time, it’s about time a Neuro-leadership Model like this was written." Robert Leisegang, MD, Dev Squared

Ian 10/10: Outstanding, good presenter that keeps one's attention. Very interesting useful information. Will recommend to my management team to all attend.  It is indeed a complex problem (leadership), but the TEC puts the matter into simple compartments, which can be implemented.

"Ian's TEC Leadership Model (Trust, Engagement and Competence) is stunningly simple, but most importantly, it is backed up utilising the objectivity of neuroscience." Prof. David Castle (Chair of Psychiatry at St Vincent’s Health and The University of Melbourne)

"I know that everybody walked away with a new way of applying leadership in their daily lives, thanks for the great talk and I’ll highly recommend this presentation to those who want to understand the foundation on which leadership is built." Arno Bakker; Chief Engineer, Powertech

"A special thank you for a dynamic presentation on your TEC Leadership Model. Of the 8 speakers at the Ethics and Governance Masterclass (Sandton Sun Hotel, 2012) you were the best. You scored 10/10 from the delegates for both knowledge and presentation style." Arusha Dasrath, Conference Organiser

After four years of researching neuroscience, Ian’s TEC Leadership and/or Persuasion Model, was published in Leadership Magazine (July 2012).

The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) hired Ian to write his first book A Marketing Guide for Accounting Professionals, published by SA Institute of Chartered Accountants (2008). His second book (2011), Secrets to Success in The Corporate World (available Amazon) was co-authored with Dr. Wolgang Riebe et al.

Backed up by over 650 interviews of leaders, the TEC Leadership System is morphing into a PhD thesis.
