About Ian Rheeder

From humble beginnings, Ian has clawed himself to the top of his industry. In 2003 he qualified as a Chartered Marketer (CM), the highest professional marketing qualification recognised both in South Africa and Europe. Ian is also a registered training Assessor with Services SETA South Africa, who is registered to facilitate almost all their Marketing & Sales programmes. He has facilitated marketing and sales management programmes at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) since 2007, and is currently part of the GIBS adjunct faculty. He completed his MSc (cum laude) in Technology and Innovation in 2015. Ian was the first South African facilitator to train sales, negotiations, marketing and leadership from a neuroscientific perspective.

Besides marketing, oil painting, fly fishing and travel, his other passion is doing ultra marathons, and has done the Comrades (90km), 2 Iron Man Marathons, 4 Dusi Marathons and 14 Fish River Canoe Marathons.
